What is an interchangeable capsule?

All microphones in the Microflex family use interchangeable capsules (sold separately), which means you can switch between cardioid, supercardioid, and omnidirectional condenser capsules by simply screwing them onto the Lavalier microphone.

Want to go wireless?

The MX185 is designed for wired use and includes an inline preamp and a 1.2 m cable with a TA4F connector. If you want to go wireless, choose the WL185M. This is the same microphone, but without the preamp, and it can be connected directly to any Shure wireless bodypack.
