TA-1VP TASCAM Vocal Microphone Processor 

The Tascam TA-1VP is a vocal processor suitable for live and studio use. Thanks to its size, the vocal processor can also be built into a 19-inch rack. This rackmount ensures that vocals sound clear and powerful. This is partly thanks to the built-in microphone preamps, compressor, de-esser and the Antares Auto Tune pitch correction.

The TA-1VP has an XLR input with phantom power on the front panel, making this vocal processor suitable for use with condenser microphones. Vocal editing is clear and uncluttered, thanks to the buttons on the TA-1VP's front panel. In addition, Antares has also provided a tube amplifier with which the timbre of the microphone can be adjusted, there are several pre-sets incorporated in this vocal processor, each with its own character. Finally, there is also an equaliser built into the TA-1VP, allowing the vocals to be tuned to the rest of the mix.

Home-made pre-sets and built-in pre-sets can be loaded from a distance and controlled via the MIDI connection on the back of the TA-1VP. Other inputs on the back include digital S/PDIF and a number of analogue jack inputs.
